The ProtonVPN servers in Ukraine are currently in maintenance mode, as we are in the process of changing the upstream provider, in order to provide higher quality to our users and to allow us to include new infrastructure upgrades on our servers in this location.
We will post an update as soon as the new servers will be operative.
In the next days all the various paid ProtonVPN servers will be temporary in maintenance mode for a short period in order to allow us performing a major infrastructure upgrade paving the way for overall increased performance and efficiency of the ProtonVPN infrastructure. We apologize for the occasional inconvenience.

Streaming ServicesTemporary issues with streaming services in IT and FR
Users may experience temporary streaming issues with the supported streaming services by ProtonVPN in France and Germany. Our team already identified the issues, and working on resolving the same, as soon as possible.
The services in FR and IT which you may experience problems with are Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, DAZN, RaiTV.
In the next days all the Free servers (US, NL, JP) will be progressively set in maintenance mode for a limited time, in order to allow for an architectural upgrade that will improve the overall quality of service.
Planned database intervention - users will be unable to access Proton services temporarily
We're conducting a short database intervention on Sunday, March 21st, 2021, between 6:30 - 7:00am GMT+1. During this time, users may temporarily be unable to access Proton services (including ProtonMail inboxes and ProtonVPN, Proton Calendar and Proton Drive apps) for about 10 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We're migrating the Swiss Secure Servers to a new data center on Thursday, March 18th. This will occur between 6:00am - 3:00pm GMT+1. During this time:
All users will be able to connect via Swiss Secure Core servers normally
From 6:00 - 11:00am GMT+1, Swiss server exits CH#5, CH#6, CH#10, CH#11 will be unavailable. If you are a Basic Plan user of CH#10 or CH#11, please connect to Basic servers in nearby countries during this time.
From 12:00 - 3:00pm GMT+1, Swiss server exits CH#7, CH#8, CH#12, CH#13 will be unavailable.
We expect all Swiss server exits to be online and available as of 3:00pm GMT+1. We apologize for the inconvenience.
